AP Corp, a leading nationwide provider of commercial window film and graphic solutions, is expanding its presence on the U.S. East Coast. They have acquired Solar Tint, Inc., a Miami-based window tinting company. This acquisition allows AP Corp to become one of the exclusive 3M™ window film dealers in the greater Miami area. With three locations in Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida, AP Corp will now serve businesses, homeowners, and vehicle owners.
The CEO of AP Corp, Bill Valway, started the company in 2001 by tinting car windows in his parents’ two-car garage. Today, AP Corp is ranked among the top ten largest window film dealers in the United States. They offer various services, including paint protection film, window tinting for homes and businesses, vehicle wraps, and other commercial graphic solutions.
In 2021, AP Corp made its first acquisition by purchasing Carolina Solar Security, the exclusive dealer of 3M™ Prestige Series films in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Solar Tint Inc. has been safeguarding cars, homes, and businesses in Miami and South Florida since 1991. Robert Flores, the owner, established the company after immigrating to the U.S. from Trinidad. Under his leadership, the business has generated over $1 million in annual revenue. Flores and his team of six will continue working with Solar Tint, but Flores will transition to a consultant and sales representative role.
