Absolute Inkjet, Inc. has introduced a cutting-edge solution for clear film printing on Epson Ecotank model printers—the Absolute Black VET inks. Engineered with a specially formulated UV-absorbing dye that effectively blocks light, these inks can be seamlessly integrated into all printer tanks, offering unparalleled performance in black film positive/negative printing applications. This includes applications such as screen positives, flexo plates, and photo engraving.
One of the standout features of Absolute Black inks is their superior light-blocking capability, surpassing that of regular full-color inks. This attribute translates to extended exposure times, providing users with greater flexibility and control in their printing processes. Additionally, films produced with Absolute Black inks boast enhanced scratch resistance, ensuring longevity and the option for reuse—a notable advantage over conventional color inks.
Absolute Black VET inks are conveniently packaged in ready-to-use 140 ml bottles, facilitating easy tank filling. For larger-scale printing needs, 1-liter bulk bottles are also available, catering to diverse user requirements.
These innovative inks are compatible with a wide range of Epson Ecotank printers, with particular emphasis on their suitability for models such as the Epson Ecotank Photo ET-8500, ET-8550, and the Epson Surecolor T3170x. Notably, these thirteen-inch- and twenty-four-inch-wide Ecotank models are identified by Absolute Inkjet President Tony Martin as ideal choices for film positive or negative printing.
“Equipping these printers with Absolute Black VET inks results in the production of deep black prints, extending the exposure window significantly,” explains Tony Martin. “Moreover, the use of bulk ink enhances cost-effectiveness and reliability compared to cartridge-based printers.”
This enhanced version aims to maintain the clarity of the information while providing a more polished and engaging presentation.
