The reliable video wall displays are ideal for the creation of natural colors.
Daktronics, in collaboration with its Korean partner Kinoton Korea Incorporated (KKI), has successfully manufactured and installed three cutting-edge LED video wall displays for SK Hynix, one of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. These state-of-the-art displays enhance the overall viewing experience and have been sequentially installed over the past few months at SK Hynix’s prominent locations – Godam, Supex, and Center One.
Mr. Yongan Park, Chief Manager of SK Hynix, expressed, “After an extensive search spanning over a year for highly durable and reliable video wall displays with the capability to produce natural colors, we are confident that Daktronics’ narrow pixel video wall displays are the ideal choice for high-profile locations within SK Hynix buildings. In 2023, we plan to extend this partnership by installing Daktronics displays in at least five additional SK Hynix locations, as they have already been technically verified.”
Installed in corporate lobby areas, these displays not only serve as a branding element for the company but also establish a connection with visitors, creating an appealing ambiance. The Godam display features a 2.5-millimeter pixel spacing, while the displays at Supex and Center One boast 1.5-millimeter pixel spacings. These narrow pixel pitch displays deliver exceptionally clear and crisp imagery even at very close viewing distances.
John Mette, Daktronics Regional Sales Manager, commented, “Our narrow pixel pitch displays are meticulously designed to excel in corporate spaces and similar applications. Transforming usable wall space into vibrant canvases for color, art, and enticing imagery uplifts the spirits of those in these areas. The installations at Godam, Supex, and Center One are a testament to the incredible solutions we consistently provide to our customers.”
The video wall displays create a highly immersive environment at SK Hynix.
The Godam display measures 3.77 meters in height and 7.93 meters in width, the Supex display stands at 3.09 meters by 8.54 meters, and the Center One display is slightly narrower at 2.4 meters in height by 6.1 meters in width.
Daktronics offers a diverse range of narrow pixel pitch LED displays, ranging from 2.5 millimeters down to 0.7-millimeter pixel spacings. This product line presents expansive opportunities, particularly in spaces traditionally associated with LCD technology, allowing the creation of luxurious and immersive environments, showcasing artistic digital content, and displaying detailed, high-quality video.
