Philips S-Line is guaranteed to make a wide impression.
PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips professional displays and solutions, proudly announces the introduction of the Philips S-Line—a groundbreaking series of stretched digital signage displays, designed to unlock new creative possibilities for high-impact installations in space-constrained environments.
First unveiled at the Philips stand during ISE 2022 and now available for order in North America, the all-new 37-inch Philips S-Line series (37BDL3050S) represents a significant addition to PPDS’ continuously expanding digital signage and dvLED portfolio. This latest iteration features an exceptionally unique and attention-grabbing ultra-wide 32:9 aspect ratio (928.5-by-282.3-by-48.7 mm).
Crafted for relentless 24/7 operation, delivering unwavering reliability, and outfitted with a robust 700cd/m⊃2; high-brightness (1920-by-540) display, the Philips S-Line emerges as the ultimate solution for diverse industries and applications, spanning public venues, transportation, restaurants, and retail.

Expanding on PPDS’ existing digital signage offerings, the S-Line introduces a stretched design and slim bezel frame (12.4mm T/B, 10.5mm R/L), offering a plethora of opportunities. This innovation allows customers to deliver crystal-clear, impactful content in spaces where traditional digital signage may not fit due to size constraints.
Whether mounted in portrait or landscape orientation, the Philips S-Line can convert nearly any surface—be it above shelving, at busy order points, in transportation hubs, or other narrow areas—into a dynamic digital platform that demands attention. From general communications encompassing branding, marketing, area/exhibition information, and timetables to wayfinding and menu boards, the Philips S-Line guarantees to leave a lasting impression.
Weighing just 7.76 kg, these displays are versatile enough to be mounted in a wide range of spaces, including temporary walls commonly found in kiosks, concessions, and pop-ups within shopping malls.
Designed with flexibility in mind and aimed at overcoming current marketplace limitations, Philips S-Line displays can function as standalone solutions or seamlessly daisy-chained using PPDS’ adaptable HDMI linking technology. This allows for the creation of multi-display setups for even more creative yet compact designs. For tiled configurations, users can effortlessly connect two or more displays using a single external player, simplifying the setup process.
Portrait or landscape mountable, Philips S-Line can transform almost any surface—including over shelving.
Effortless Control and Monitoring
Aligned with PPDS’ suite of premium digital signage, interactive displays, dvLED, and professional TVs, the Philips S-Line arrives with an extensive array of out-of-the-box solutions, ensuring seamless integration and near-instant setup.
Powered by Android 8, the Philips S-Line is optimized for native Android apps, empowering users to install their preferred applications directly onto the display. Equipped with an integrated media player, content creation and scheduling become straightforward tasks via USB and internal memory, guaranteeing uninterrupted display operation even during network outages. Philips S-Line displays seamlessly transition from standby to content playback and return to standby mode upon completion.
Additionally, the Philips S-Line will soon integrate with PPDS’ innovative cloud platform, PPDS Wave, unlocking advanced remote management capabilities for displays located in single or multiple locations worldwide.
Martijn van der Woude, Head of Global Business Development and Marketing at PPDS, expressed, “We are thrilled to unveil our latest Philips S-line series, offering new opportunities for our partners and their clientele to bring their digital content and creative aspirations to fruition.
